In Settings › API Keys, create a secret key and tick only the read permissions you’ll use.

In claude.ai and ChatGPT you add ByDomu as a connector and sign in with your ByDomu account. In the other clients you paste the address and the key.
Security
It looks, it doesn’t touch.
ByDomu MCP goes through the same public API your integrations already use: it inherits its permissions, limits, alerts and logs. It never touches your database directly.

All nine tools only read. Your assistant doesn’t create, edit or delete anything, and never messages your clients.

Limits and logs
Each key has its own per-minute limit and visible daily usage. Creating or revoking it is recorded in the Audit log.

Can my assistant change anything in ByDomu?
No. This version only reads: it doesn’t create contacts, move deals or book appointments, and it never messages your clients. That’s why we ask for a key without write permissions.
Does it work in claude.ai or the ChatGPT app?
Yes. Add ByDomu as a connector with the address mcp.bydomu.com/mcp and sign in with your ByDomu account. It also works in Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and the Claude and OpenAI APIs with a key.
Which listings does my assistant see?
The active listings published on your portal, with price, location, features, photos and agent. Drafts, unpublished properties and internal notes never show up.
Can it read my WhatsApp conversations?
Only if you give the key the Conversations permission: then, when viewing a contact, it brings their latest messages. Without it, that part shows as unavailable and the rest of the record keeps working. It never sends messages.
What if I lose the key?
The full key is shown only once, when you create it. If you lose it, revoke it in Settings › API Keys, create a new one and update your assistant. Revoking cuts access from the next request and deletes nothing from your agency.
